Two thirds of American adults are overweight or obese; one third are clinically obese.  With most of the top ten killers in our country either directly or indirectly related to our diet, there’s never been a more pressing need for a change.  Kickstart your Health can be that change!

This curriculum is based on PCRM’s successful  (and free!) 21-Day Vegan Kickstart program. The Kickstart online program has helped thousands of people adopt a plant-based diet to reach their health goals.  The Kickstart class is a complementary but completely separate class series that offers it’s best work at 7 classes but can be condensed to 5 or, if you just want an introduction to the idea of plant-based eating, a single class.

The Kickstart can help many people achieve their goals of losing weight, lowering blood sugar or cholesterol, or simply feeling the freedom of not having to count, weigh, or otherwise keep track of what they are eating.  Eating a whole food, plant based diet frees you up to enjoy your food without guilt or regret.  Kickstart shows you how to get started.  You’ll learn which foods are optimal for managing your weight, learn about health topics like digestion and blood pressure, learn practical cooking skills and eat tasty, tasty food!
